  • This was in an amazing spot! You are literally on top of the water even when you are sitting inside the home in the living room. The sounds of the waves follow you everywhere. it was gorgeous and while it had all the vibes of lake winnepesaukee it was not too overwhelming as you were in the cove of Alton Bay which is more quiet. Also very walkable to the small downtown ish area where there were many restaurants and things to do!

  • Great place! We enjoyed our stay very much. Would be a wonderful place for a young family who enjoys lake activities.. Kids could swim and play right off the deck and mini beach with swimming area (see photo). We loved lounging over the water on the deck. On a rainy day, we had a lovely time relaxing in the comfy living room with lots of big windows to enjoy the beautiful location even while inside. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home. Grill and kitchen appliances all worked great. Even though there’s no dishwasher, the big sink and good faucet made it easy to do dishes. Ample towels provided. Very responsive and accommodating host.
